Challenge: Create Nature Art!
‘I made a design of autumn leaves, petals, pebbles and berries in the park. I sent a photo to MindShot and they made a postcard of it!’
Alaya, age 7, London, UK
‘I collected smooth, dark stones and painted designs on them. Then I painted my name on some.’
Leona, age 6, Los Angeles, US
‘Every spring I like to make daisy chains in the garden. This one was as tall as me.’
Lea, age 8, London, UK
‘We used old bits and pieces to make a home for any little creatures who come to visit.’
Bianca and Thea, age 9, London, UK
‘I made this in the woods with leaves and a conker. It’s the face of a Nature Man. I also did one of his whole body.’
Nathan, age 7, Midhurst, UK
‘I saw some colourful leaves in the woods in autumn, and put them around an oak tree. I liked to imagine other kids finding them later.’
Billy, age 9, Liverpool, UK
‘In the summer, I put some pebbles together on the sand and added some swirls with a stick.’
Mathilde, age 7, Broadstairs, UK
‘I found this cool structure in the woods with my sister. We added more branches.’
Thea, age 9, London, UK
‘I decorated a tree in the park with my friend, using fallen flowers. We sat in the tree, too!’
Lucy, age 7, London, UK
‘I made these two birds with leaves, twigs and some recyclables, and coloured in the features.’
Marina, age 10, Campinas, Brazil

Ondine, age 12, London, UK
‘I made snow angels. You lie down and move your arms and legs in and out.’
Azi, age 11, Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany
‘We didn’t have much snow but I still made a snow creature, adding grass hair.’

‘We made a wet, leafy heart in the rain!’
Olivia, 9, and Sofia, 5, London, UK
Challenge: Design A Nature Placard!
‘This is a tanker that has spilled its oil, polluting the sea and hurting the wildlife. I put a red line through it. We should look after the oceans.’
Saoirse, age 4, Stamford, UK
‘My placard says “Treat the sea loving and healthy”. People shouldn’t throw plastic in the sea as it hurts all the fish.’
Giselle, age 7, London, UK
‘I came up with ‘“Precycle” and “Think before you buy” so we create less waste that hurts our planet.’
Thea, age 9, London, UK
‘These are our messages to help keep our Earth safe and healthy.’
Austin, 8, and Leo, 5, UK
‘I made this for a Fridays for Future protest in London. I used a branch as a handle. Young activists like Greta Thunberg are so inspiring.’
Bridget, age 11, London, UK
‘This says “The beautiful textures and animals”. I like how Nature can be shiny, smooth or bumpy.’
Samir, age 8, Bradford, UK
‘Our placard reminds people that we need to have healthy seas and more trees on our planet.’
Eira, 5, and Ffion, 8, Bristol, UK
‘I am reminding people to care for the Arctic and the Antarctic, where climate change is melting the ice and harming animals.’
Thea, age 9, London, UK
‘My placard says “I’m against animal testing”. We should not use animals to test things like make-up. We should respect the Earth’s animals.’
Alaya, age 7, London, UK
‘I created slogans to help people think about our planet. I like “Listen to the kids, we know best” because it is our future!’

Josef, age 11, Lisbon, Portugal
